Fabric Knot Necklaces

At my crafting passion house church last night, we attempted to make fabric knot necklaces. Monica had this lovely idea and showed me where she found a tutorial. I say attempted because my sewing machine decided to be uncooperative and quit working on us. So next week, we'll be tackling these. But here are the ones I made...

To make your own, go here to Amy Butler's site and scroll down to the Fabric Necklace. Download the pdf and follow the instructions. I adjusted the directions a little - I used 90 inches of fabric (pieced together is fine) that was about 3 inches wide and I just sewed a tube and flipped it inside out and started adding beads and knots. I didn't mess with all the bias tape instructions...and mine turned out great. So skip that stuff if you don't understand. It'll be just fine.

Any questions? Leave me a comment.
